This exhibition features a selection of new stone and paper works, architectural site models, scale models of larger proposed sculptural projects, as well as a short video piece based on a light drawing made on the December 21st Solstice. 

Martha Quinn’s work has varied in scale from the most intimate of paper cut forms right through to large, publicly commissioned monumental creations. Just as the equinox contains the balance of opposite forces which gives this show its title, all her work is unified by opposing passions and themes that she endeavours to explore: positive and negative, space against form, light versus dark, the ancient and the contemporary, the organic and the geometric.
