OCG announces its schedule of exhibitions for 2025

A busy year for the Olivier Cornet Gallery and its artists...

The Olivier Cornet Gallery is delighted to announce its programme of exhibitions for 2025:


Touring:

15 March - 26 April 2025:


'What do we want? / Cad atá de dhíth orainn?', a touring group show, An Gailearaí, Gweedore, Donegal. Artists: Jill Gibbon, Bernadette Hopkins, Manal Mahamid, Eoin Mac Lochlainn, Miriam McConnon and Tom Molloy. The exhibition, which was first shown at our gallery in April-May 2024, then at QSS Belfast in August-September 2024, featured in The Irish Times's top ten art exhibitions of 2024 in Ireland (Gemma Tipton, 15 December 2024).


Jill Gibbon, Eoin Mac Lochlainn and Tom Molloy participated in the previous two editions of the show. For this third edition, we are delighted to welcome: Miriam McConnon, an Irish artist based in Cyprus and whom we represent, Manal Mahamid,  a multidisciplinary Palestinian artist based in Haifa and Dublin since 2020 and Bernadette Hopkins, a visual performance and participatory artist and activist born in Belfast.

(a solo exhibition of still lifes)


15 June - 24 August 2025:
Summer/Bloomsday group show. As this year marks the 100th anniversary of the 1925 Paris Art Deco Expo, the exhibition will be an artist's response to this period during which James Joyce's Ulysses was published. The show will feature work by our gallery artists and invited artists.

6 November - 6 December 2025:
'
Ode to Giants', a group show part of Dublin Gallery Weekend 2025. Our represented artists and members of our AGA group will respond to their favourite artworks in Dublin Museums.

Miriam McConnon,  Domestic Narratives, A look back 2016-2019. 

'Domestic Narratives' is an online retrospective exhibition curated in our Kunstmatrix virtual space and featuring a selection of paintings produced by Miriam McConnon between 2016 and 2019. All works are available for purchase at the gallery.
