Annika Berglund's Information Networks I at Art Evolve 2025 Fair, RDS, Dublin, 4-6 April

"...an attempt of the individual to find their place in the world.…"

The Olivier Cornet Gallery is delighted to showcase Annika Berglund's 'Information Networks I' at the ART EVOLVE 2025 Fair, RDS, Dublin, April 4 to April 6, 2025.

This work will feature at our stand no 27, alongside other works by the artist and by the following artists we represent: Hugh Cummins,  Eoin Mac Lochlainn,  Miriam McConnon, Yanny Petters and Kelly Ratchford. We will also showcase work by three artists from our AGA group: Mary A. Fitzgerald, David Fox and Nickie Hayden.

The ligament-like ropes create an organic form reminiscent of a flesh wound and its healing journey as each side is seemingly being pulled to each other in an attempt to bridge the gap. In a sense, this image can be interpreted as an attempt of the individual to find their place in the world and their community as well as an appeal to humanity for a mutual interpersonal understanding.…
