Dublin Gallery Weekend 2024 - Explore and experience the best in contemporary art
Across Dublin, Friday 8th – Sunday 10th November 2024
Dublin Gallery Weekend (DGW) returns for its second year with a citywide programme showcasing Ireland's most exciting contemporary art.
For three days, Friday 8th to Sunday 10th November, Dublin's eleven leading commercial galleries will launch exhibitions by renowned Irish and international artists, as well as a host of family-friendly art-related events including artists' talks, panel discussions, guided tours, late openings, and much more.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend so come along and be surprised, challenged and inspired by contemporary art in Dublin City Centre!

As a member of CAGA, The Olivier Cornet Gallery is delighted to be part of this second edition of Dublin Gallery Weekend.
Our current exhibition, 'Fieldwork with Mainie and Albrecht, twelve Irish habitats in homage to the artists who have inspired me', a solo exhibition by Yanny Petters, will be complemented by special events during Dublin Gallery Weekend:
Friday 8 November 2024: A special talk 'Craft in Contemporary Art Practices' will take place at 6:30pm on Friday 8 November with the OCG artists Yanny Petters, Annika Berglund and Hugh Cummins who will be in conversation with the art historian Jean Ryan. Saturday 9 November 2024: Join us on Saturday 9 November at 11am for a free Nature Printmaking demonstration by exhibiting artist Yanny Petters. The workshop runs from 11am to 12.30pm. Booking advised: just email info@oliviercornetgallery.com.
Sunday 10 November 2024: Join us on Sunday 10 November from 12pm to 5pm for the closing day celebrations of the exhibition Fieldwork with Mainie and Albrecht by Yanny Petters. Gallerist Olivier Cornet will give an informal tour/presentation of the show and the artist’s career. A buffet will be served from 12pm onwards (please arrive early if you don't want to miss any food).
